The skipped ch-5 sps will be used to add the bottom ruffle later on and need to be kept on the inside of the work, so when it is skipped and you work the next st you will want to keep it behind.

I'm a beginner, i understood the first part
what i understood is to leave ch 5 sp,it will be used in bottom ruffle part .
Are you saying just to leave it .
but
1)how to keep inside of work?
this skipped chain has something to do with shell stitch?
2)how to work behind of chain space i.e we have to take any of the chain from chain space or what?
Pls be clear,sorry for inconvenience.
Thanku.

I'll try to answer. Lisa is having computer problems at the moment. I haven't made this pattern but this is sounds like something she does frequently in her pattern. You will be working on the right side or the exterior of the outfit from the sound of it. You skip those stitches and keep them on the inside of the outfit. They will remain there and you will leave them alone working only in the new stitching on the next round until it is time to work on the ruffle. At that point you will open up the outfit to the inside and work solely on the stitches you left behind. Does this help at all?
