Hi, my name is Fran. I've been a crocheter for over 42 years. I just purchased Lisa N's "Dixie Belle" pattern. I plan on making it for my 16 m/o granddaughter for Easter. I'm usually good at visualizing how a pattern will come together from reading the instructions, but not this time. I guess I'll have to trust in it and just dive in!

Hi Fran and welcome ! This pattern is definitely non-traditional. However, which version do you have? I want to be sure you have the most recent version as that pattern has gone through a few updates =)

Hi everyone I'm from Satsuma Alabama. I very much love to crochet. I've be crocheting for 40 years. I love to make many things, like baby blankets and baby booties and baby clothes. Also, many others things hats, scarfs and dollies. I love to learn new things so I'm willing to try different patterns. I'm working on the Celestial Christening Gown now. Beautiful pattern. I love it. But now I'm having difficulty on the Edging Row 2= I count (many times) 9sc each end=18sc,320sc for the ch-4 sp and 4sc places, 29sc for top of cl-dc5tog. I count a total of 367sc I'm sure I'm doing something silly that makes this wrong. Please help me figure it out? I cant go any further. Thank you so much for your help! Hello from Satsuma "Alabama again. Up late at night again. All ends well. I figured it out on my own. I still dont know what I did in counting it wrong.but now its fixed. HOO=RAY :D :D I just love it when a good pattern comes together, dont you .BYE
