Hi.
I am making this lovely dress for two of my granddaughters. One is a size 7 and the other a size 3T. Thing is although the pattern gives the chest measurements there is no overall length measurement indicated for each size and as my granddaughters don't live with me I have no idea if the length will be correct. Can anyone help, please.

Will try to help, my version is 1M shown on bottom of pattern. On the bottom of skirt on page six after row five, it states to Rep rnds 4 - 5 until dress measures 14(14.5,15,15.5,15.5,16)||17(17.5,18.5,20,21,5,13,24,25).......... I am assuming that with the bottom edging and the straps you might have to add at least three more inches. Lisa should be the one to really tell you. So 3t is 20 inches and 7 would be 24.5 inches overall?

Hello dear. Have mom measure as follows:

Find the middle point between top of shoulder and underarm. This will be your starting point (this is where the top of the panel will sit). Have her measure down to as far as desired. In the pattern where it says to work to following length (below), you can adjust to your number. Since these are top down construction, you can actually make the length however you wish. The chest circumference is what is important, as it cannot be changed. I hope this helps! (PS, the scalloped edging will add about 1 1/2".

14 (14.5, 15, 15.5, 15.5, 16) || 17 (17.5, 18.5, 20, 21.5, 23, 24, 25)"
