I am trying to make the 24 months Dixie Belle dress. I am on Layer 2 and I am a little confused. I made the V-st loop inc as I was supposed to and I don't seem get it. I understand that it counts as 2 v st and 2 loops. The directions say to do 2 dc -ch2-2 dc-ch-2 dc and on the next row will the v st go into the 2 ch 2 spaces or should they be left unworked to use as loops for joining layer 3 ruffle? If the v st is in the ch 2 space of the v st loop inc, where are the loopsfor joining layer 3? It's an addorable little dress and I'm tryiung to make it for my grandaughterfor Easter. Please help!

I am so happy you brought this up, it looks like in that version the st definition was modified at some point!

Let me know if it makes sense changing the st definition to: (The added correction is in blue).

V-st-loop inc: (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, loop, ch 2, 2 dc, loop) all in sp indicated sp, counts as––2 V-sts, 2 loops.
