Query........... After row 4 and the sh-increases have been completed the pattern says " until dress measures 6" from top of panels", is that from the very beginning or from the beginning of the Body shell pattern?
I am making the largest size.

This would be from Row 1 of Top/Back Panel

Yes thank you.
The reason I asked is because I get a different row tension from the cotton I am using, Altin Basak Myra.

And that is a perfect reason why I tend to put in number of inches to work to rather than a set number of rows. I think it is so hard to get both stitch and row gauge, and this helps everything stay on course as intended
