The pattern states 2 balls of 825 yards for a total of 1650 yards. How much does the pattern really need?

I am ordering yarn from Knitpicks and it comes in 440 yard hanks. Four hanks would give me 1760 yards but three would give me 1320.

I used about 1/2 to 2/3 of the second ball.. so that puts you at around 1200-1300 So looks like you may be ok with 3!
