I am confused on the edging it say it is intended to overlap slightly but I dont know how Is it supposed to overlap in back or front
is picture 1 right or picture 2 or am I doing it wrong altogether

I didn't really force the overlap either way with mine. I don't think it really matters.

looks GREAT and when you are wearing it the edge will flop around both ways so it really won't matter.
