I have the first panel done and was wondering is the bodice quite holey(skin can show through easily) pictures on website dont show it is

not dissapointed it is so pretty working up so far just want to make sure I am doing it right

I haven't made this one, but it looks good to me. I don't think it looks too holey. :)

I od not think it looks too holey, but not sure as it is hard to tell when not on skin. Did you check your row gauge? Maybe the stitch gauge is on, but maybe the row gauge is a bit larger?

I just checked gauge again when I first worked it I was getting 6 sts 3"

when i checked now I am gettin
6 stitches 2.75
4 rows 2"

I am supposed to be getting
6 sts 3"
4 rows 1.25

How do I increase sts without increasing rows

I am on a 2 steel hook and the pattern calls for a 6 If I go much bigger wont the holes be alot larger?

seems like both your st and row gauge are off -- try use ing a 3 or 4 sttel --

with steel hooks the larger the numbre the smaller the hook

If you are trying to make your stitches "taller", when you pull up your loop, pull it up a bit higher which makes a longer stitch. Let's see if I can explain that a bit better. Insert hook into stitch, yo, and pull through stitch (now pull it up a bit longer than you normally would), yo and pull through all loops. If you want a shorter stitch, you just don't pull up as high. :)

This is how I do it, but someone else may have a different way. :D

I am on the roses for option 2

I am not able to do the roses I am so confused on how they get a curl and how to curl them and attach as you go so they dont unravel
