Need help with row 2

On row 2 the pattern calls for a trp-lp in the center ch-3 space of each trp-lp - but aren't there only 2 ch-3 spaces of each trp-lp if a trp-lp only is worked as (sc,ch3,sc,ch3,sc) ?

Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong. Thank you

I have the same exact question and unlike the previous poster I haven't managed to figure out the error in my ways by myself. :) Please help me figure out what the middle or 2nd Ch 3 is when I'm only reading that there are 2... (sc, ch3, sc, ch3, sc). Thanks!

Row 1: (sc, ch 3, sc, ch 3, sc) in 5th ch from hook (counts as a trp-lp), *sk next 4 ch, trp-lp (see Stitches) in next ch, rep from * across, turn––31 (47, 53) trp-lps.

When you did your first trp-lp it used the 4 chains that you skipped as the first ch-3 lp. The rest of the trp-lps are worked with a (sc, ch 3, sc, ch3, sc, ch-3, sc) which gives you three ch-3 lps.

The easiest way I found to identify the middle lp is to place a st marker in the second lp until you get familiar with where it is.

Let us know if this doesn't help get you going. :D

Thank you! Seems so obvious now. And I love the st marker idea to get me going. :)
