 I'm looking at the pattern and my dress doesn't look like the picture on the pattern.

I must be reading the pattern wrong, that's all that Ive come up to the answer why I'm having such difficulty with this pattern. A really stupid thing is, I've made this dress years ago and I can't remember how I did it!!!

I have a question for you. Are you supposed to make 2 front panels. I have crocheted up to joining of the panels, so I'm thinking you have to make 2 panels. Am I right?

You can post pictures here, just scroll down until you see "Upload attachment" and upload from there. There is one front panel, its the front of the dress. The straps do attach to the top/shorter side of this and work into the back panels from there.

Do you know if there's an error or typo, as it says on row 8 to change back to the main color and I thought that you don't change until you start the skirt. Wrote to Lisa, but I don't know if she got it yet so maybe you could tell what I'm supposed to do!

Thanks

I think I have the old pattern with the errors in it, as it has on round 11 to join MC.

I don't quite understand what Rd 10 is talking about. You are to fasten off after you mark the last chain 5 so you know where you start to SL stitch in the next marked ch5 from last round.

Can u explain what the pattern is trying to tell me!

Thanks. I want to make this dress for a gift for Christmas. Also I want to have it ready for dec. 25th

*Edited* The main color is the color you are working the top of the dress in, in the pictures its the blue part. The CC contrasting color (white in the photos) is joined further down the instructions. It may be helpful to read through the pattern to get an idea of how it comes together.

Join MC is correct, it means to join the Main Color of yarn because it is a 2 color dress.

Post a picture when you finish, its a really pretty dress. Happy Crocheting!

In my pattern it says where you start you skirt is where you join the contrasting colour, that's why I think I have the older pattern. Round 11 says to join MC, I have been using the main colour, blue for all of the rounds, so this is where I get confused. I don't see where you change to the contrasting colour, except where you start to make the skirt!

Yes I do know it's a 2 colour dress and that's what I've been following, but round 11 has me confused!

I sent you a picture of my dress. I sent it to the crochet garden email address and put your name in front of the email address. I hope you get it and it doesn't float in cyber space.

Thanks

I tried sending the picture but every time I do my system crashes and it won't let me add the file. I hope you get the picture that I tried to send to you.

I do not get email, I'm just a pattern tester. :) All emails go to the Designer/Owner of Crochet Garden, Lisa Naskrent.

Can someone tell me in rd 8 where it says (ch 3, sc in next ch3lp) 2 times, does that mean 3 times. In total?

Thanks to anyone that can answer my question
