Mountain Walk Cable Hats

These hat patterns utilize a new cabling technique, developed here at the Crochet Garden. These cables can be described as a cross between herringbone and braided cables. Sharp looking.... Simple yet classy. Perfect for both men and women alike, as well as children. These hats work from the crown down making the length customizable. Each hat also has the option for ear flaps.

Pattern includes: (4 hat patterns) Smokey Mountain, Forest Trail, Alpine Walk, and Rocky Trek.

Size (finished hat circumference): 17 [18.5, 20, 21.5, 22.75] inches to fit toddler through adult

Lion Brand Wool-Ease Worsted Weight (3oz/85g 197yds/180m per skein)
Hat 1 Smokey Mountain: Mushroom #620-403 1 [1, 1, 2, 2] skeins
Hat 2 Forest Trail: Fisherman #620-099 1 [1, 1, 2, 2] skeins
Hat 3 Alpine Walk: Natural Heather #620-098 1 [1, 1, 2, 2] skeins
Hat 4 Rocky Trek: Wheat # 620-402 1 [1, 1, 2, 2] skeins
Size I/9 (5.50MM) or size needed to obtain gauge, and Size J (6.00MM) crochet hook
