Version 1U and Below: Layer 3: Increases should be 3, NOT 2

Version 1U and Below: Layer 3: Increases should be 3, NOT 2

This is corrected in version 1V and above. (Correction in blue, "loop" was added to give the increase of 2 loops, previously it only gave an increase of 2 V-sts).

Incorrect:

Layer 3:
Rnd 1: With color opposite last layer and with dress upside down with RS facing, lift up last layer to expose loops from last layer, attach yarn with sl st to first loop, beg-V-st in same loop, work loop, [V-st in next loop, work loop] aroundworking V-st-loop inc in any 2 loops (2 increases total) evenly spaced apart, at end do not turn yet, join with sl st to top of ch-3 of first V-st, turn–– 28 (30, 30, 32, 34) || (34, 36, 38) V-st, 28 (30, 30, 32, 34) || (34, 36, 38) loops.

Corrected:
Layer 3:
Rnd 1: With color opposite last layer and with dress upside down with RS facing, lift up last layer to expose loops from last layer, attach yarn with sl st to first loop, beg-V-st in same loop, work loop, [V-st in next loop, work loop] around working V-st-loop inc in any 3 loops (3 increases total) evenly spaced apart, at end do not turn yet, join with sl st to top of ch-3 of first V-st, turn–– 28 (30, 30, 32, 34) || (34, 36, 38) V-st, 28 (30, 30, 32, 34) || (34, 36, 38) loops.

When you do layers 4 and beyond (and are repeating layer 3) should you only do 2 increases? You want to keep the number of v-stitches an even number so that the picot round of the layer works out right (where there aren't 2 picots together or 2 sections of 5 sc together)?

That is correct. Each additional keep the increases an even number. I will be sure to get that in the next version! Thank you so much for posting here so that I can get this fixed for further versions!! Once I have this corrected and the format updated (many older patterns here are going through a revision and update process I will be sure to email it to you. Thank you so much FrancieChris!

Sorry, I'm still a little confused. I'm a very visual person...

So each layer increases by whatever layer number it is? I.e. layer 3, 3 increases, layer 4, 4 increases and so on? I do have version 1V and my layer 3 has (2 increases total) in the directions. If there is a newer version available, would it be possible to have it emailed to me?

Thanks again for the help!
