I am working on the body and on this row it uses the word bet...what does it mean....it's also in the next row I really need to work on this during the weekend please help


Row 2: Ch 3, dc in each of next 8 dc, *dc bet 2nd and 3rd dc of next sh, ch 1, dc bet 3rd and 4th dc of same sh, ch 1, 4 dc bet 4th and 5th dc of same sh, ch 1, dc bet 5th and 6th dc of same sh, ch 1, dc bet 6th and 7th dc of same sh (scallop completed), rep from * across, dc each of last 9 dc, turn––18 dc, 26 (28, 30, 32, 32) scallops

Is there anyone that can help me?
