Changed Made to Version 1S: (Version 1S is the most current version).

This was a mini-overhaul.

Split shell labels were changed to V-sts
Anchor Labels were changed to Loops.
Layout was changed.
Photos were added to show how to work Left Back.
Other additional changes.

Needing a bit of help with Dixie Belle dress. I've already completed a 3 mo size (beautiful!). Now I'm working on a size 3T. Help! Why so many special rows for that size? I am very stumped with the left back shaping for this size. Following the directions (rows 1-8) I only end up with 18 sc and the pattern says i should end with 21. I don't see how that is possible per the instructions. Size 3T specifically indicates there is no increase in Row 2 (and therefore no increase in rows 4 and 6.) Unlike the other sizes, there is only one sc in the last stitch----so no increase. It's the only size where this is the case. I can see I'm going to have the same problem with the right back shaping. I've had no other issues with the pattern. I finished the 3 mo size using the 1st version with absolutely no problems. But I am certainly stumped now. I hope you can help me as i want my granddaughters to have matching Easter dresses. Thank you!

Hi Connie, I wanted to let you know I am looking into this for you. There might be an error for the 3T size that has not been caught until now. I will get back with you once I sort it all out and check all sizes for this area

There was an error for this 3T size. It looks like all other sizes are fine. I am SO happy you brought this up (well obviously you did since you were stuck), but I am so surprised nobody else has come in with this problem.

Anyway... here is the correction for Row 2. Rows 3-8 should then work out fine.

Currently in Version 1S and below:

LEFT BACK SHAPING

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc across panel until last sc, work 2 (2, 2, 2, 2) || (2, 1, 2) sc in last sc, turn ––11 (12, 13, 14, 15) || (15, 15, 16) sc.

Rows 3-6 (3-6, 3-6, 3-6, 3-6) || (3-8, 3-8, 3-8): Rep 1-2 in that order 2 (2, 2, 2, 2) || (2, 2, 3) times, then
Sizes 2T & 3T only rep Row 1 once more and then Row 2 of Left Back. Fasten off––15 (16, 17, 18, 19) || (20, 21, 22) sc. Cont to Right Strap.

Corrections Now in Version 1T:

Row 2: Ch 2, sc in 2nd ch from hook (increase made), sc in each sc across panel, turn––11 (12, 13, 14, 15) || (15, 16) sc.

Rows 3-6 (3-6, 3-6, 3-6, 3-6) || (3-8, 3-8, 3-8): Rep 1-2 in that order 2 (2, 2, 2, 2) || (2, 2, 3) times, then
