I was wondering what the length measurement of the front panel of this dress would be? I have crocheted it to 4 inches. Is that correct?

hi barb,

not sure where you got the 4" for length -- that was just for a guage swatch --

each size is a different length -- for the 9mo - (just finished this dress) - you start with a ch 23 and sc in 2nd ch from hook and ea ch across - for the next 9 rows you inc 1 st on ea end --

please go back to page 2 to check on the size you'll be doing (its color coded) and found on the right side of the page
then go down to the bottom left where it says FRONT PANEL - you'll see how many stitches you'll need to ch for ea size and then follow inst to complete the front panel and fasten off

then continue onto back panel, then joining panels, etc - please let me know if you need any more help or if this was even helpful
