Layer 1 fan stitch-----(Dc,{ch 2,dc} 3 times do you end up with 3 dc or 6....brackets are a bit confusing

Hello dear! I can totally understand when brackets and parentheses can become confusing. I think for now I will start writing them all out as well in addition to the condenses form.

In my pattern writing style, you always repeat what is in brackets.

(Dc, [ch 2, dc] 3 times) all in sp indicated.

would be the same as:

(Dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2, dc, ch 2, dc) all in sp indicated.
