Section 3 Rear Shaping

Section 3 Rear Shaping

Postby lollielean » Tue Jun 04, 2013 2:54 pm

I'm confused on this row. You are no longer working in the round, it says do not join, so does that mean you turn? I'm not sure as it doesn't say to turn.
Thanks!

I really should add in there "cont in the round without joining." So basically, you do keep working in the round, but you do not join. This way you do not have a visual seam. Let me know if this makes sense?

I made it and I made it work but I have another question before I make it again :-). When you are decreasing, it gives the specified stitches for the first round but you have less stitches for the next round and so on. So do you still continue the same decreasing pattern or subtract stitches here and there from you count?
Thanks!

I am not sure what you mean, can you give me the row numbers this happens on, or the actual section title name if it is in a paragraph of wording? That would help me understand exactly what part you are referring it :) This is an old old pattern, so it could be something was missed or could be better explained! :)

Section 4 Rear decrease. I get the instructions but it says to continue until they read a certain length. Each round you do you have less stitches as you are decreasing each time. I'm wondering after the first row where those decreases should be placed or if it matters?
